About 

Dana Murphy Law provides businesses facing fluctuating legal demands with dedicated outsourced legal expertise, without the commitment of hiring a full-time employee or a conventional outside law firm.  Dana understands that the traditional way legal services are being offered is changing.  For this reason, she provides services to clients on an interim, part-time or project-based engagement.  Dana offers discounted fees to clients that commit to a certain number of hours per week or month, for a certain period of time.  This model provides companies a cost-effective manner to outsource their business and legal needs while gaining the valuable insight of a seasoned outside general counsel.

Dana has over 15 years of legal experience, working both in law firms and as in-house counsel. Dana earned her J.D. from New England Law Boston and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History, and minor in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.

Dana began her legal career as an associate attorney at Brand & Tapply, LLC in Wellesley, MA.  After spending five years working on litigation matters, she joined The Vertex Companies, LLC as in-house counsel, where she provided Vertex with almost 9 years of strategic legal support.  Dana's experience leaves her well positioned to assist companies looking for outsourced legal support in the architectural, engineering, environmental and construction fields.
